Another week in the books. I really can't think of anything that happened this week. I have been keeping busy by playing piano which is the most interesting thing I've done all week. I have new companions, one is from Tahiti and one is from Vegas. Uuuuuuhhhhh... we've had a couple lessons with members and there's some cool people.

Btw Facebook wrecked me and locked me out of my account so I had to make a new one so if you get a friend request it's me lol. Give thanks for being in the USA if you live there rn, the regulations are coming down but Canada is wild so idk how long we're gonna be in here. Much love! Talk to yall next week.

Prison Tunes

Where to begin, where to begin... there was much good and there was much sad. We have officially called everyone who has ever met with the missionaries in Etobicoke and apparently the still aren't interested in the Gospel. On Wednesday we got a new comp because his comp had to go home, good guy. We had a lesson with the Russians but the language barrier is just too much, they don't understand half the things we say. We'll have to work on bringing someone who can speak Russian.

Elder Gardner bought a guitar on Thursday and has been playing tunes from back home and it is so nice. Guitar makes the heart happy.

I'm very very sad to say that my son is leaving. Elder Gardner is going to a new area and I'm getting another comp from Tahiti. I'm sad to see Elder Gardner go, hes an awesome guy. Welp, talk to you next week I guess.

I have now been in isolation for almost a month of my life. I have become transparent from lack of sunlight, I've forgotten what a high five feels like, my desk chair has now perfectly molded to the shape of my butt. We're still alive though so we count our many blessings. I'm turning into a chef though so everybody watch out for me on Hell's Kitchen.

So this week as we were calling on Areabook and we found this Russian woman who knew the missionaries in Russia because they taught her English. We've had a couple video chats with her and her husband so that's been interesting. They're funny people, we'll see if we can get them progressing.

Someone told me that during the Black Plague or something Isaac Newton invented calculus so do something cool while you're chillin. Have a good week!

Day 212

Hello Friends,

This week was another week. We are slowly running out of people to call on AreaBook so we're going to have to get really creative with how we find people to teach. They've told us to start wearing masks when we go and get groceries or food which is stupid, it's alright though because the virus is going to get smacked by all this fasting we're doing and it’s going to die.

General Conference was fire holy cow. My favorite talks were definitely Saturday evening when Pres. Eyring spoke about the visit of Elijah and the priesthood keys. Of course Holland gave another dope talk, what else do you expect from that legend. Hope is the antidote ladies and gents, without hope we got nothin. Hope y'all have a good week. Fast on Friday por favor. Love you all.

Good Day friends,

Oh what a week, where to start...

Last week I was told I was going to my new area on Sunday but that turned into Tuesday so I got my new comp Elder Gardner, really cool guy. It's good stuff to serve with him. He has consistently destroyed me in chess this week so that's unfortunate.

Lots and lots of phone calls to potentials, people formally taught, and with referrals. We had a dope lesson with a member's girlfriend, I think she'll get baptized when we get out of this mess. We also called a guy last night in the afternoon who was busy but said we could call back that night. We called back and taught him the Restoration over the phone, challenged him to read the Book of Mormon, and we're gonna call him on Tuesday. Good Vibes from that guy.

Lots of time to read the Book of Mormon this week but I've kinda been all over the place just kind of exploring it I guess would be the way to describe it. I'm super hyped for Conference though it's going to be awesome. The church is true! Have a good week!
